Adhesion test method

The coated sample is fixed in a horizontal position by a vise, and two parallel scratches with the width of 10-15mm are scratched on the surface of the sample with a cutter (W in the figure below indicates the width of the two parallel scratches).

At one end of the parallel scratch, first use a knife to cut a vertical scratch, and then chisel it up to make this end debonding from the substrate. When the debonding length reaches 10 mm, the free end is fixed with a clamp. The fixture is connected to the dynamometer and stretched at 90 ° angle (see Figure). When the coating can not be stripped from the surface of the substrate and can only fracture, it can have a larger adhesion value.
